Frequently Asked Questions

Please read our FAQ before sending us a message.

What should my child wear?

For your child’s first class they need to feel comfortable. A pair of leggings/tracksuit and a t-shirt is ideal with runners. There will be movement so it’s important your child is wearing clothes they are able to move about in.

Do I have to pay the fees upfront?

At “Jessica Plunkett Drama Academy” we are happy to offer your child’s first class as a one off, free trial class. Fees for the second week must be paid in full.

Can parent's watch the sessions?

Strictly no parents are permitted to spectate my classes due to child protection and health and safety concern.

Will my child get a chance to perform?

Yes, towards the end of each term each child will get an opportunity to perform a piece in front of their parents. Only if they are comfortable in doing so. As emphasised before the main focus  of “Jessica Plunkett Drama Academy” is to create a comfortable, safe environment without any pressure.

Is there a minimum or maximum numbers in the class?

In my class I would take a minimum of 5 people and a maximum of 15 children. I want to give every child an equal amount of time and attention in getting the best out of my classes.

How will my child benefit from the classes?

My main focus is to build the child’s confidence and self belief in themselves. By the end of the term I hope that they will have made lots of new friends, built up their confidence, expanded their imagination and creativity, all through the medium of Drama.
